Happy Birthday Sherell - 25Apr 2008


This Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Cake was specially baked for my Dear Sherell on her birthday.


We had a SteamBoat Celebration and Cake cutting was Part 2 for this Happy Day.






Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse, the first creamy mousse cake baked all by myself. Although the previous birthday cakes were also homemade, but of course with help from 师傅. The result of this cake was very impressive, Sherell smiled when she opened the fridge and saw the birthday cake. She said she is the first in the family to have a Birthday Cake baked all by her mum. 师傅,这是我第一次单枪匹马的处女作,希望您看了后不会被我的榛子巧克力慕思蛋糕吓倒

虾日芋笋 - 27Apr 2008

季军是这道鼠粉笋粿

沾上黑甜酱和辣椒,味道更可口

星期天跟Sharon 约好了上Aunty Irene 家学做虾枣和鼠粉笋粿。谁知不但可以学以上的两样食物,Aunty Irene 还多教了一个芋角。哇!真的是无比的学习哦!不久,董莉也来了,我们又多了一双手一起卷虾枣。又过了不久,一位新朋友,L-5 也来了,我们又多了个帮手。四人八手一起赶芋泥,炸虾枣,包笋粿。我们分工合作,加上师傅在旁指点,我们很快就把所有的食物搞定了。笋粿还包到不够馅呢,我们还开了两罐tuna 来充当馅。算算之下才发觉,我们包了750克的鼠粉。谢谢师傅的指导和三位好搭档的合作。

This is my first time baking a mousse cake all by myself & the result turns out quite satisfactory. My this new creation named Sri Melaka Mousse Cake 椰糖慕思蛋糕. I like this cake very much mainly because its PANDAN GREEN! It also smells very nice especially the smell of 椰糖. I brought to office to share with my boss and colleagues.

新创作 - 22nd & 23rd April 2008

香喷喷,火辣辣的蜜汁叉烧

这次的蜜汁叉烧,我是用了半肥瘦三层肉烘成的。因为那天去巴刹迟了,五花肉卖完了,肉摊老板就介绍我使用这半肥瘦的三层肉,他说效果不比五花肉差。果然出炉的三层肉蜜汁叉烧美得又亮丽弹性柔软味道甜美。还是要谢谢师傅蜜汁叉烧食谱,让我大胆的尝试了这新创作!


师傅,对不起,我又把宫保鸡丁食谱里的两样材料换了。因为孩子的要求,我把辣椒干都拿掉,换成午餐肉红萝卜了。效果是。。。吃到只剩下了空盘!

传统鸡蛋糕 vs 班兰小蛋糕

我相信你们都知道我对青色的班兰情有独钟,什么小蛋糕都不会放过,必须加些班兰!剩下的就加了粉红草莓颜色和味道也是不错。

接下来的传统鸡蛋糕就更加不得了咯!不但味道像极了外面卖的,应该说比外面卖的还好看和好吃多了,雪白白的,很好漂亮很松软谢谢师傅的食谱!

我们五点就到了Hotel Grand Central, 去了一趟厕所出来,人群就开始拥进来了。DJs 也开始进来了,先是看到晓英, 礼莲, 咏梅, 等等, 我们还看到永勇. Many people were already standing at the door of restaurant, waiting to enter. Punctually at 5.30pm, we were all allowed to enter, my husband even helped 永勇 to his table.


At first the seats were all very cramp, but after some pushing here & there, its more spacious and comfortable. We had many good laughs with 建彬大哥's jokes, esp when he 合唱 with 碧玉. The interesting part is the free drink 乐思玫瑰葡萄酒, I only sipped a little, cos it has 11% alcoholic, but my son finished half of his cup...hahaha! 


家乡酿鲮鱼冻南北杏万寿果甜汤可是我第一次品尝到的佳肴,真的是大开口界! 我们也玩了三个游戏,Puzzle Game, Items Collecting and Charade. 咏梅's team won the Charade game with 1min 5sec...guessing Sports.

大食会的最后一个节目就是大抽奖第三奖现金一百元第二奖一百五十元头奖两百元
