Today is my first experience of making mooncakes,,of course with help & guidance from my Sifu, Aunty Irene. Its really very challenging. bcos to me, its not easy to make mooncakes...but with Aunty Irene's guide, I MAKE IT!! Its also fun with Dorene and Sharon (SIS) around. Well, its really a great day and good experience for me. Thanks Aunty Irene, u make my dream come true! 谢谢您师傅...but now the mooncakes ...'can see cannot eat' leh!!! got to wait till Tuesday.. Never mind just enjoy looking at it first lor!

get to know your blog thru Bryan blog. It very interesting, and i am very impressed with the mooncakes.
Can you share with me where can I learn to make mooncake? Aunty Irene conduct any cooking lesson a not?
I'm also a listener of 97.2 and I also attend Bryan class on 11 Aug and at Yamaha too.

mooncakes,,,hmmm VERY DELICIOUS...REALLY! Even my Phillipino colleagues who does not take red bean soup likes my mooncakes!!! She said very nice not so sweet. She oso wan to follow me to Aunty Irene house to learn.. with so many ppl wanting to learn, Aunty Irene may be very busy so just wait for 1 or 2 more days ok?

yes yes, Aunty Irene is very diligent, she knows lots of baking, u name it she knows it...万能会师傅！
u can let her know what else u want to learn in advance lo,, so that she can know whether theres enough ingredients..i think so!
As for my colleague, she prefers other cakes baking...she alredi put aside that day to baking

Nice to hear from you, ya i tk some setting was not right so u all cnt comment & oso mayb i never dream i will rcv so many comments,, Thanks all of u. In fact i loved baking alot and i had learnt b4 many years ago, but no time to practice due to family committments lo.. wat else!
But Aunty Irene has many delicious and easy to make baking, so tats just right for me..hope i dun disappoint my sifu!
